News from December 7 reports that Iceland's electricity shortage is forcing the island's main electricity company, Landsvirkjun, to cut off electricity supplies to certain consumer markets, such as fish, aluminum supplies and archives. The company said on Tuesday it had rejected all consumer electricity requests from its new cryptocurrency mining company.
