Bitwage issues the world's first Bitcoin payment

According to Bitcoin Magazine on December 6, Bitwage, a company focused on developing the Bitcoin payroll function, is delivering the world's first Bitcoin payments to the Lightning Network. The billing statement was sent to Bernard Parah, CEO of Nigerian crypto company Bitnob. A second Bitcoin salary has been submitted to USL (American Football League) athlete Alex Crognale. Bitwage has been announced as the leading San Francisco-based Bitcoin payment service provider. The company has partnered with Voltage and French startup ACINQ to develop Bitcoin products and services. Besides the United States, the company is also present in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
