On December 3, Navi Mutual Fund, co-founded by Sachin Bansal, founder of Indian e-commerce company Flipkart, submitted a written report on the blockchain announcement to the Indian Securities Commission (with reference to SEBI. Rather than investing directly in cryptocurrencies or blockchain-based companies, blockchain funds invest in other currencies related to blockchain indices. The Navi Mutual Fund would be part of the Navi Group, a financial services company founded by Sachin Bansal. Flipkart, an e-commerce company developed by Bansal, is now owned by Wal-Mart.
