On November 24, the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) issued a statement stating that “Only legal entities registered as virtual currency providers in Finland may sell virtual profits in Finland”. It is now reported that there are less than 10 regulatory companies operating in the cryptocurrency and virtual currencies industry in Finland. However, the FSA does not prevent Finnish users from accessing foreign websites, and Finnish advocates can continue to visit international cryptocurrency websites.
