Listed mining company HIVEBlockchain has ordered 6,500 Avalon Bitcoin mining machines from Canaan Technology.

On October 29, publicly traded company HIVE Blockchain placed an order for 6,500 Avalon Bitcoin mining machines through Canaan Technology, which will be connected and commissioned on December 1 and February 2022 by batch. HIVE says purchasing these miners will allow HIVE's Bitcoin mining capital up to 2EH / s between December 2022 and 3EH / s by March. The company is currently operating at around 1.2EH / s. Hive Blockchain is known to have purchased 6,400 miners from Canaan Technology in January of this year and 4,000 miners from Canaan Technology in August of this year.
