Indian Supreme Court asks RBI and others to overturn ruling which "bars payment by UPI of WazirX"

Golden Financial said Thursday that the Delhi High Court had responded to requests from the Central Bank of India (RBI), National Bank of India (SBI), State Payment Corporation of India and India's Ministry of Financial Services. The ruling restricts payments through the Unified Payment Interface to India (UPI) by the bureau de change WazirX, an app in which authorities seek instructions to withdraw the cryptocurrency. In this regard, the court set a hearing date of December 24.
