The Wall Street Journal reported on October 28 that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday asked at least one executive to cancel plans to create a Bitcoin Exchangeed Fund (ETF). The report says the SEC hopes to limit new Bitcoin products to those that negatively affect future Bitcoin contracts. The SEC has approved the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, the first ETF based on Bitcoin futures in the United States, which was seen as a turning point for cryptocurrency, increasing the value of Bitcoin.
