According to an Oct. 27 report, the head of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, said that if digital devices were regulated, cryptocurrencies would find a place in Singapore's finances. “Cryptocurrencies may play a role in unpure trust and illegal finance in the future of finance,” Shang Daman told the Asian Financial Markets Forum on Wednesday.
