US SEC declined to comment further on controversial Ripple findings

On September 9, Chief Prosecutor Mark Sylvester of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in a letter to President Sarah Netburn, urged the court not to force the agency to provide additional answers to Ripple questions. The SEC accused the accused of trying to "trick" Ripple into answering questions about the legality of BTC and ETH, warning that they had never violated these two cryptocurrencies. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has stated that this is generally not an independent decision as to whether a particular financial instrument is guaranteed. (U. Today)
