According to an internal audit report released Thursday by the US Postal Service (USPIS), Golden Financial said the administration of the seized crypto assets and related investigative procedures need to be corrected. The investigation was conducted by Mary Lloyd, an expert in cybersecurity and technology. A "non-standard cryptocurrency training" for postal analysts, inconsistent communication between analysts and cryptocurrency financial plans has been found and is being reconsidered in cryptocurrency research. Additionally, USPIS accounting software was used to track cryptocurrency transactions when it investigated any "data integrity issues" associated with the exchange resulting in inaccurate data. According to the report, USPIS is developing a "cryptocurrency training guide" for analysts, "developing a written procedure for the management and monitoring of the national portfolio", improving the financial process and improving communication between analysts and cryptocurrency financial plans.
