On September 1, it was announced that Line Plus Tech, the distributor of Line, a Japanese telecommunications giant, will launch NFT products for Friends of the Line graphics. NFT runs on the LINE blockchain and features three cartoon characters that will be presented to 600,000 users who have taken the quiz. A user who writes the three numeric symbols can receive up to four NFTs. Target Friends currently operates 260 stores around the world. The NFT space entry line will help bring this technology into the mainstream. Previously, Line planned to announce NFT services as part of a joint venture with Yahoo Japan so that NFTs published through the Line blockchain could enter the secondary market.
