Cardano plans to announce Alonzo's hard curve on the Mainnet on September 12.
Tim Harrison, director of marketing and communications at IOHK, announced that Cardano's goal is to build Alonzo's hard curve on the mainnet by September 12. This update will allow users to run smart contracts on the PoS blockchain. Cardano director Nigel Hemsley argued that the project's engineering and testing teams were working "too hard" because they were heading so fast on a difficult challenge together. At the same time, many partners are developing applications written in the Plutus programming language. By the end of the "purple phase," Hemsley said, Cardano would have around 500 community members working on the network. The Cardano Foundation is responsible for working with the exchanges. Most exchanges need to be initiated before a difficult challenge arises. Until August 16, IOHK will release the latest concurrent version of the Plutus Core Node Mainnet. Cardano's testnet will get tougher on September 1, allowing the team to see how the “full set” works in manufacturing. (U. Today)
