On August 13, the Web3 Foundation announced that its volunteer work had completed 300 projects. The Web3 Foundation has received 840 applications since its creation in December 2018, of which 302 have been approved. To date, 143 teams have completed the project and 212 groups have completed the first phase of the project. The average user understands privacy and confidentiality, the Internet of Things, gaming, data storage, and finance. There are two main types of donation to the Web3 Foundation: public and private. The introduction of the Open Donation Program aims to provide teams with a simple and transparent way to raise important funds, access and exchanges discussed and accepted on GitHub, and payments are made in cryptocurrency.
