US Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to use software developed by Coinbase as a forensic tool

According to the Golden Financial report, the US Bureau of Immigration and Security hopes to use "computer forensics software" developed by Coinbase. The August 3 document contains details of the contractual agreement currently available on SAM.gov. The contract preparation notice on file is as follows: the Office for International Security Assistance (DHS), Immigration and Security (ICE) and the Office of Commercial Representation (OAQ) have announced an Open Source agreement for the assembly and the computer. Forensic Services FAR 13.106-1 (b) Pursuant to (1) (i) and (ii), the only qualified supplier capable of providing such services is Coinbase, Inc. (DUNS number 081007539).
