According to a survey by Blockdata, a blockchain industry intelligence firm, as of August 12, 55 of AUM's top 100 banks have invested in major cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. These partnerships include direct and indirect investments in crypto and distribution of technology companies, either by the bank itself or by the agencies. A Blockdata study identified Barclays, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs as the most popular crypto and blockchain companies, while JPorgan and BNP Paribas were also listed as investors in this new version.
