Venezuela can use cryptocurrency for taxes

According to the Cointelegraph, the Venezuelan Bolivarian Presidential Council has signed "national tax agreements" with 305 cities across the country that have applied or are considering applying Petro taxes and penalties. Venezuela's Vice President Delcy Rodriguez will be responsible for registering taxpayers via digital media. It is also responsible for establishing an information exchange and surveillance system that allows companies to collect money in the national cryptocurrency. In the past, the Venezuelan government has said that almost 15% of gas stations in the country are paid for by PTR.
