Seongnam City, South Korea Announces New Digital Gift Voucher to Launch Blockchain Payment Program

According to Korean news agency Kyungyang News on the 11th, Seongnam City in South Korea is preparing to expand existing blockchain payment plans by releasing new digital certificates. It has been announced that the city's blockchain infrastructure will be based on an app called Chak. Seongnam's project hopes to make it easier for older and middle-aged people to operate the city's existing blockchain infrastructure. They also want to increase the use of contactless funds when Covid-19 is ubiquitous.
