Apple's long-running VR/AR headset could be delayed until 2023 due to a combination of educational issues. The report, based on those familiar with Apple's plans, says:The device was supposed to premiere at WWDC in June 2022, howeverIt should be released before the end of this year. However, recent patching issues may delay Apple's release of VR/AR headsets.

The VR/AR headset features two 8K Ultra HD displays with optical capabilities, 12 cameras with handheld tracking, a pivoting head, and multiple control options. However, there are now overheating issues as well as camera and software issues. The headset is said to have two chips, at least as an example of how the M1 Pro performs in the new MacBook Pro model. It is believed that the thermal conductivity of these chips is the cause of the overheating problem.
